(1) The certificate of registration given under Rule 4 shall be valid for one financial year.
(2) According to sub-rule (1), within three months from the date of expiry of the period of validity of the organization's registration, the concerned person shall renew the certificate of registration by paying a fee of five hundred rupees from the local authority.
(3) After the expiry of the period according to sub-rule (2), if any organization comes to apply for the renewal of the certificate of registration showing a valid reason for not renewing it after the expiry of such period, the local authority may renew the certificate by taking the following additional fee in addition to the fee as per sub-rule (2)-< br>
(a) Rs.100 for three months after exceeding the period as per sub-rule (2).-
(b) After expiry of Clause (a) till the end of the month of Rs. 250.-
(c) After expiry of clause (b) for the next financial year Rs. 500.- for two financial years at the rate of Rs. 1,000.–
(4) Notwithstanding anything contained in sub-rules (2) and (3), within /span>If the non-renewed organizations apply for renewal showing that the certificate of registration has not been renewed, the local authority may renew such certificate of registration by charging an additional fine of one thousand rupees for each financial year in addition to the renewal fee for each financial year.
(5) Notwithstanding anything written in sub-rule (2), if an organization applies for renewal of the certificate of registration at one time for a maximum of five years, the local authority shall review the nature and condition of the work done by such organization every year. The registration certificate can be renewed for up to five years at one time by charging a fee of one hundred rupees.
(6) The organization renewing the certificate of registration shall attach the list of the office bearers of the working committee when submitting the application.
(7) According to sub-rules (3) and (5), the local authority should give the information about the renewal of the certificate of registration to the Government of Nepal, the Ministry of Home Affairs.
